Cultural Narrative:
Tipi used by L.V. McWhorter when visiting piyopyóot’alikt (Chief Peo-Peo Tholekt). The painting on the tipi was done by the chief, and represents Sitting Bull presenting the peace pipe to him on his arrival in Sitting Bull's Canadian camp after escaping from the c'aynim 'alikinwaaspa (Bear Paw Mountains battle). Images include two Native Americans, and a pony on either side of them. Also depicted is a long bow or spear.
