Cultural Narrative:
This is a beaded hand bag, a wool and buckskin handle, probably before 1930s. The beads are really, really old. The design is old too, like seaweed and cornhusk those were some of the earliest designs they worked from. The flowers and storied bag designs came later. Elaine Emerson
