Woman's Moccasins Pair

A pair of woman's moccasins made of a one piece construction. A flat stitch beaded roses with bead fringe is removable. This pair shows the maker's Euro-American influence of the mid-20th century, for example, the ankle strap which is not common or typical of American Indian moccasins., length: 9 7/16"; width: 4 1/2", Mrs. Clara Moore was born near the mouth of the San Poil River where it flowed in the Columbia c.1880. She died in the spring of 1972 at age 92 or 93. She is buried at Keller, Washington.
